It’s amphibian time of year! A chorus of frogs has erupted in the woods and wetlands. The Young Macs were delighted to have Matt Ellerbeck, from Save the Salamanders to talk about how to help our amphibian friends. It was a beautiful spring day but nice and cool in the barn, the preferred salamander conditions. The kids were delighted to get to see various species including those that might be hiding in their own backyards. This was followed by the Frog and Salamander walk the next day as part of the regular Macnamara outings.
