On the May 11-12 weekend, 30 club members spent an exciting weekend birding at Presqu’ile Park with Fergus Nicoll as our group leader. Despite the cold, windy weather, the birds were there and we saw them! For many participants, there were several “life birds”. A total of 127 species were recorded by the group. Thanks , Jon Ruddy, for keeping meticulous records over the weekend!
Social activities such as picnic lunches and a group dinner at the Harbourview Café allowed club members to get to know one another a little better.
Thanks to all who participated!
