This was certainly the year of the owls.  A record fifteen Snowy Owls came down to join in the count and records were also set for Barred Owls (8) and Eastern Screech-Owls (2).  The compilation pot-luck party at the Arnprior Curling Club drew a larger-than-usual crowd and provided a lovely end to the day.
