March Break Nature Walk on the Macnamara Trail

Remnants of the Manitoba Maple that blocked the entrance to the Macnamara Trail last July were a magnet for kids arriving at the trailhead for the Arnprior Library’s March Break nature walk.  But once on their way, there was much more to draw their attention as MFNC’s Alicia Salyi and Maureen Carrier pointed out sights and sounds as they followed the snow-covered trail over the boardwalk as far as the bird feeders, where Black-capped Chickadees added their call notes.
