Alberto Suarez-Esteban spotted fireflies in Pakenham on May 26, 2022; John Lawrence also saw fireflies on Torwood Drive, Dunrobin from May 26 to May 30. Ann Lambert saw Monarch Butterflies at MacLaren’s Landing on May 30, 2022.

On May 30, 2022, Stephen Duff saw this Black Bear  on Ramsey Concession 8 
Later that day she saw three toads on top of each other!
Ann Lambert saw American Toads spawning at MacLaren’s Landing.

Ann had fixed a tray inside her gazebo for a Phoebe; instead, it was taken over by a Robin with three eggs due to hatch the next week!

Michael spotted this Female Northern Harrier carrying nest material, mobbed by a Red-winged Blackbird, then attacked by another female Northern Harrier,
all on May 29 at Antrim

Also that day at Antrim, Michael watched a Wilson’s Snipe winnowing with its tail feathers.
