Get ready to gaze in awe…
and howl with laughter…
at the sure-to-be fabulous tales and images featured by our own natural wonder Macnamara Club president Michael Runtz in “Algonquin Wild.”
“My presentation Algonquin Wild is a visual exploration of the changes in Algonquin Park’s flora and fauna through the course of a year,” Runtz notes. “Highlights include elusive orchids and carnivorous plants, and little-known snow insects in addition to the more famous large animals such as wolves and moose.”

Our well-known naturalist, nature photographer and natural history author will be delivering this new presentation at the 2018 Macnamara Club banquet on November 10. Based on the positive feedback the executive received about the quality of last year’s banquet venue and buffet we are returning to the Sand Point Golf Club. We are also bringing back our silent auction.
You’ll miss the fun if you don’t have a ticket! As members of the public are also invited to attend, club members are encouraged to buy their tickets early.
Tickets will not be available at the door. The ticket price of $40 per person applies up to midnight, November 7 and payment MUST be RECEIVED by the Club by that date. Tickets for children 11 and under are available at a special price of $20.
Come prepared to buy your tickets at the October 2 meeting or buy them in person at the Arnprior Library or purchase them online. Tickets will also be available at the November 6 meeting if not sold out by that date.
