There were likely some sore limbs to be found on the Macnamara Trail last Saturday afternoon. Those on the trees are just fine, though.
As for the appendages of the hard-working good-natured crew of volunteers who hauled, dumped and spread wood chips a good part of the day there, well, that’s another matter!
While the volunteers might shrug it off, Julian and Béatrice Romeskie, who oversee the maintenance of the trail, have nothing but praise for their helpers in the herculean task and thanks for all the participants.
Anyone familiar with the trail will appreciate the effort associated with the spread. Come see how good it looks!
