The Macnamara Field Naturalists’ Club will be screening the acclaimed documentary The Messenger at 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 29, at Arnprior’s O’Brien Theatre. Renowned naturalist and Carleton University teacher Michael Runtz, our Club’s president, will be present to talk about the movie and answer questions, joined by Ted Cheskey, Nature Canada’s Senior Conservation Manager – Bird Conservation, Education & Networks; and a representative of Safe Wings Ottawa.
This event will be our official fundraising launch for the Macnamara Trail Extension.
Proceeds from the tickets, which are $20 each ($10 for students and ages 16 and under), go to the Macnamara Nature Trail Extension project. Tickets are available at the door, or can be purchased in advance here. Please attend and spread the word!
