We have long wanted to revitalize the area around the kiosk and entrance to the Macnamara Trail.

We are thrilled to announce that our club has received a generous donation from a private, family-run charitable foundation that will allow us to repair and enhance the Trail and its entrance.  A long-time supporter and volunteer, who wishes to remain anonymous, recommended our club to the foundation.

We will use the funds to refresh the trailhead kiosk, repair boardwalks, repair the viewing tower access, clear and enhance the one-way trail to the Ottawa River and perform other general improvements.

Our club and maintenance of the trail rely on volunteers.  We will need help with some of this work.  If you’re handy at carpentry, painting or graphic design, please contact us by email at:  trail@mfnc.ca.
