To celebrate the recent publication of Michael Runtz’s long awaited book on beavers, Mississippi Madawaska Land Trust invites you to the beaver pond at High Lonesome Nature Reserve on Saturday, September 19 where Michael will do a show and tell about this Canadian icon and its habitat.

Following an introduction on the beavers and their role in the ecosystem, Michael will lead us around the pond as he shares his passion and knowledge of this special part of the natural world he has been observing and studying for 30 years.

Registration for this event starts at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 19th and the presentation begins at 10:00.  The admission fee is a $10 donation to the MMLT.
